On a bright Sunday morning on 3rd September, Allison Pike entered a team of four runners in the Hatters Half marathon in Stockport.
The race event starts at Edgeley Park, home of Stockport County AFC.The scenic route follows the River Mersey along the Trans Pennine Trail towards Northenden, Manchester before forming a loop and returning to the finish in Alexandra Park in Edgeley. Our plucky runners Chris Gill, Deborah Jackson, Nicole Simon and Mark Greenwood all completed the 13 miles in good times while helping to raise money for charity. The team’s chosen charity was the Stroke Association.
