The Hornsmill at Helsby opens for Hydes

Hydes Brewery commissioned Allison Pike to reconfigure and extend their new acquisition of the former Helsby Arms near Chester.

The design involved adding a large new orangery linked with sliding folding doors to a new dining terrace and beer garden. The orangery features a lantern light and contemporary ceramic flooring to create a light and airy dining space.Traditional pub values are maintained in the bar areas which are centred around a high quality new hardwood servery with stone backdrop. The project was completed in 12 weeks and opened early December 2014.
